Semana Ultima
Sadly, my time here is drawing to a close. Tomorrow starts my final week as a Language and Culture Assistant. Over the last 9 months I’ve had some of the most unparalleled experiences in my life, and I highly recommend doing something similar at least once. It may not be for everyone, but the reward is well worth whatever opportunity cost. In the end, among other important lessons, I think I’ve appreciated now more than ever that trying is one of the most important things one should do.
Here’s the plan for the next week: Leaving Jerez this Friday, June 1st for one night in Sevilla. Flying out the next morning to Paris for 4 nights. A 7-hour layover in Iceland, before spending 3 nights in Boston/Cape Cod. Will fly into Chicago on June 9th.
